Plantables - Spring 2023
Want to press the easy button for gardening season? Order your seedlings and plants with our Plantables Fundraiser and have them shipped to your door! Plantables is a family-owned company based in Forest, Ontario that grows healthy and hardy fruit and vegetable plants. Every box of plants you buy helps us raise funds for the PPPS School Council. We receive 10 % of the total of every order you place. Please submit orders by May 31, 2023.

Outdoor Classroom Project
We started our Outdoor Education Initiatives in 2020 to give our students a safer, more dynamic place to learn outside. Our school is also facing enrolment pressures and the Outdoor Classroom will add a much needed additional learning space for students. Our fundraising efforts were a success and a 30-person Outdoor Classroom will be built in summer of 2023, thanks to community and parent donations and matching funds provided by the OCDSB.
- $15,000 grant from the Desjardins Ontario Credit Union
- $1,000 grant from Walmart Canada
- close to $5,000 from parent/guardian donations
- $9,000 from School Council fundraising
- $25,000 matching funds from the OCDSB
Our awesome classroom will include log and rock seating, a stage and blackboard and seating for 30 students. With our overcrowded school at 150% capacity and 9 portables, the outdoor classroom has the added benefit of increasing our learning areas at the school.
